The town of Kettle Falls is just minutes from the Columbia River/Lake Roosevelt in N.E.Washington. The original town site of Kettle Falls was platted in 1889. The town prospered until the late 1930's when the construction of Grand Coulee Dam forced the relocation of the town 4 miles away, creating the town as you see it today. This is a beautiful area north of Spokane,WA and just south of the Canadian Border, a community and region that is rich in history. Through archeological excavations, diaries and ledgers, the lives and culture of the first people to live at Kettle Falls has been discovered. Over 9000 years of habitation in and around The Falls has been documented.
